Director Harish Shankar today tweeted that "GabbarSingh almost finished ;Guys super excited to release on May 9th".
Gabbar Singh will be shooting its climax fight from 9th of this month and then a duet and item song will be left, which will be finished by april.
Producer Ganesh Babu wanted to give some space to Ramcharan’s Rachcha, which would release in last week of march and would complete 6 weeks run before Gabbar Singh arrives.
Also Gabbar Singh’s one schedule was altered because pawan decided to give time and location at pollachi to Jr.NTR for his Dammu movie shooting, couple of weeks back.
Gabbar Singh’s first teaser has crossed 1 million views after 4 days on youtube and its music CDs will be released in 3rd week of april 2012.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster hits Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari & Gang Leader were also released on 9th may in 1990 and 1991 respectively and completed 100 days run exactly on his birthday (22nd august).
Lets hope Gabbar Singh also repeats the history.
