Gabbar Singh: Trailer release on February 14

The trailers of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming Gabbar Singh, directed by Harish Shankar as a remake of Bollywood super hit Dabangg, will be released in a publicity campaign to be held on February 14, the makers said.

Scheduled for release on April 27, the film is being shot in Pollachi. Shruti Haasan is the heroine, while veteran actress Suhasini is playing a key role as hero's mother. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Gabbar Singh is produced by Bandla Ganesh under the banner of Parameswara Arts.

Pawan Kalyan, Puri Jagannadh movie starts from may 2012

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s next movie after Gabbar Singh would be with ace director Puri Jagannadh.
This was confirmed by Puri Jagan himself few minutes back.Gabbar Singh will release on 27th april 2012 and immediately this project would start.
Meanwhile, Puri Jagan is planning to complete a movie titled Devudu Chesina Manushulu with Ravi Teja.
Pawan’s movie with Trivikram for Sanghamitra arts will start during the end of this year or early 2013.
Pawan – Puri Jagan movie would be produced by D.V.V.Danayya on his universal media banner and they’re planning to rope in a bollywood heroine.Jagan narrated the script to pawan during Gabbar Singh shoot and as soon as he got powerstar’s approval, he postponed his project with Jr.NTR for this movie.

Chiranjeevi could have become Chief Minister

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday stated that PRP would have won the Assembly polls defeating the Congress and party president Chiranjeevi might have become the Chief Minister, if all his fans has voted for him.“Chiranjeevi would have become Chief Minister, if all his fans had voted for PRP. Most of the his fans didn’t have voting rights (Age<18) during the 2009 Assembly elections and many of the eligible fans aren’t enrolled to vote,” said Kiran Kumar Reddy, after unveiling the statue of the Nobel Laureate Ravindranath Tagore at the BT College in Madanapalli, Chittor district. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s statement gained significance as it comes in a programme where the megastar was also present as one of the guests. Chiranjeevi is now being recognised as a prominent leader in congress party after he managed two state cabinet berths for his men.

Puri Jagannadh postpones NTR movie for Pawan Kalyan

Puri Jagannadh is a big fan and huge admirer of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. He got his first break as director with pawan’s Badri (2000).

Jagan even has a big size photo of pawan in his office, which shows his love and respect towards kalyan. Jagan has been trying hard to make another movie with Pawan Kalyan for over a decade.

Despite Puri’s desperate attempts, Pawan Kalyan didn’t do another film with him all these days. There was news in the media about another film in this combination many a time, but that didn’t materialize. Few years ago a film was finalized and was called off at the last minute.

However, Pawan fans are happy that Puri is finally doing a film with Pawan now. After getting the nod from Power star, Puri Jagannadh has ditched other heroes who are supposed to do his next films. Puri has put Idiot 2 with Raviteja on the backburner and pushed NTR behind Pawan Kalyan in the queue. Puri has promised to direct NTR’s movie after Idiot 2. But that movie may not materialize in the near future. As of now Puri is kicked about the film with his favorite star.

This would be produced by D.V.V.Danayya on his universal media banner and would start after summer 2012.

Pawan Kalyan’s GABBAR SINGH movie is shooting at brisk pace and is expected to be completed in next two months. This movie’s first official teaser will be released on the eve of ‘valentines day’, 14th february. Rachcha title song shooting completed

Ramcharan’s Rachcha movie unit has almost wrapped up shooting for opening song of the movie. Last week the unit filmed few scenes in Chennai and, currently the song is being shot at Buddha statue in hussain sagar, under the direction of choreographer Prem Rakshit. Music is being composed by Mani Sharma. Rachcha movie completed more than 75% of the shoot and is readying for late March or early April release. Tamanna is playing the leading lady and the movie is directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain under Mega Super Good Films banner. Ram Charan Tej and Tamanna are playing medicos in this movie.

APOORVA LAKHIA WILL DIRECT RAM CHARAN'S HINDI MOVIE ZANJEER 2

Bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia will be directing Ram Charan Tej’s hindi debut movie Zanjeer 2. The original version in early 70s was produced and directed by Prakash Mehra with Amitabh Bachchan in lead. Now Prakash’s son Amit Mehra, Reliance Entertainment and Eros Ram Mirchandani are jointly producing this latest version. The original script will be modified to suit the tastes of present generation. Chiran Bhatt (cousin of vikram bhatt) will compose music for this movie. This will not be a remake but it will be a sequel of original Zanjeer(1973).

Producers are planning to make this a bilingual in hindi and telugu with a budget of Rs.70 crores and shooting is planned to start in late 2012 after charan completes his telugu movie commitments. Apoorva Lakhia worked as an assistant director for Ashutosh Gowariker’s period epic film Lagaan(2001), Once Upon a Time in India and as second assistant director for the film Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996). He had been an assistant for Hollywood films such as The Ice Storm, A Perfect Murder and Addicted to Love. He made his debut as a film director with the 2002 film Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost. His second film Ek Ajnabee released in 2005 which starred Amitabh Bachchan in the leading role was a remake of the Hollywood film Man on Fire. His third film Shootout at Lokhandwala which has a multi-star cast released on 25 May 2007 and was based on real-life events involving the underworld gangsters Maya Dolas and Dilip Buwa. In late 2007 he directed a short story titled Sex on the Beach for the anthology film Dus Kahaniyaan. His next film was Mission Istanbul and he also wrote story of Hide & Seek (2009), which is directed Shawn Aranha.

RAM CHARAN ADVISES SAMANTHA TO PUTON SOME WEIGHT FOR YEVADU

Megapowerstar Ram Charan Tej is known for taking extra care in his hairstyle, appearance and fitness levels for each movie. Recently he has puton some muscle and is trying to look bulky. To suit him, he advised heroine Samantha to put on some weight and look chubby so that their pair looks right on screen in their upcoming movie Yevadu. Samantha was looking skinny in her recent movies and to distract attention her ultra slim waist, she got her navel pierced. Certainly Charan takes care of how he should look and how his heroines should look on screen with him. Yevadu will start its regular shooting this summer and is planned for early 2013 release. Allu Arjun and Sai Kumar play important roles while Devi Sri Prasad is composing music.

Ram Charan’s Racha heads to Chennai

Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s Racha shooting has now began in Chennai. Recently, the movie was shot in Ramoji film city and from today it’s being filmed in Chennai. The filmmakers have shot a photo shoot for the movie and the first look of Racha will be unveiled soon though it was postponed from Pongal.

Ram Charan and Tamanna are pairing up for the first time in the film while Ajmal is the playing the negative lead in this out and out commercial entertainer which is high on action. Sampath Nandi is directing the film and NV Prasad and Paras Jain are producing Racha under Mega Super Good Films banner with Mani Sharma as music composer.

RAM CHARAN'S ZANJEER IN APOORVA LAKHIA DIRECTION

Ram Charan Tej has reportedly given nod to a Bollywood film which is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Zanjeer. The original was a blockbuster hit and gave a new image of angry young man to Big B.

Director Apoorva Lakhia of Shootout At Lokhandwala fame will wield the megaphone for the movie while Reliance and Balaji. Ex Eros Ram Mirchandani along with Amit Mehra will produce it.

Chiran Bhatt cousin of Vikram Bhatt will compose the music tunes for the film. While the rest of the cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized, the filmmakers refused to divulge the changes to the new script.

HANSIKA NOT A PART OF RAM CHARAN FILM : DVV DANAYYA

There has been a huge buzz that Hansika is roped in to pair alongside Ram Charan in VV Vinayak’s directorial besides Kajal Agarwal. But producer DVV Danayya has confirmed that Hansika hasn’t been approached for the film. The filmmakers have released the press note.

Ram Charan, VV Vinayak film will be made with a huge budget lavishly and Kajal Agar...wal is roped in to play the leading lady role while producer DVV Dannaya is making the film on Universal Media banner.S.Radha Krishna is presenting the film.

The regular shooting will commence from February first week. DVV Danayya informs that the second leading lady is yet to be finalized but it is not Hansika and they haven’t approached the actress.

Despite attempting a new image and characterization, power star Pawan Kalyan was not successful to score a hit with his earlier venture 'Panjaa'. So now, he is getting into the commercial masala route with his new project 'Gabbar Singh'. But now, another interesting update has arrived.

Malika Arora Khan Finalised For Gabbar Singh Item Song

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh movie producer Ganesh Babu has considered many heroines so far for the hot item song Munni Badnaam‘s telugu version. The list had Parvati Melton, Bipasha Basu, Ileana, Trisha, Nayanatara, Katrina Kaif, but none of them were confirmed. Now the lastest buzz is that director Harish Shankar insisted that they get the original Munni of Dabangg for this song. So Malaika Arora Khan was approached and she might be finalised soon. Devi Sri Prasad has recorded 4 songs for this movie so far, which includes the title song(introduction song by Baba Sehgal) but he has not yet finished this hot number.
